At the age of 77 Jimmey Kimmel's Uncle frank died who is a great comedian and producer

Jimmy Kimmel is an American Television host and comedian. He was born on November 23, 1967 in Brooklyn, New York, U.S. He is the host of Jimmy Kimmel Live. A late night talk show that airs on ABC. Prior to that, Kimmel was best known as the co-host of Comedy Central's The Man Show and Win Ben Stein's Money Kimmel is also a television producer.

"Uncle Frank" was among the first regular characters introduced on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in 2003. Kimmel asked Potenza, a former security guard at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas and St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York, to move to Los Angeles to take part in the show.

Potenza was frequently used in comedy bits or reaction shots, often to provide a dose of common sense or merely a puzzled shrug to the proceedings."His kindness and humor will be missed by everyone he touched," the show said in a statement Tuesday.Frank Potenza, a retired cop and security guard who found late-life fame on his nephew Jimmy Kimmel's late-night TV show, has died at 77, according to ABC. The cause of Potenza's death was not made public.The New York native and Korean War veteran worked as a police officer for 20 years and was also a private security guard at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas and at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York before he began his entertainment career.
