Jay-Z has a new star in his garage—a $2-million Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport that wife Beyonce reportedly gave him as a birthday gift.
According to The Sun, Beyonce gave her rap mogul husband the ultra expensive and fast car when they celebrated Jay-Z’s 41st birthday on December 4. The Veyron Grand Sport is one of the most expensive and also one of the fastest production cars in the world. The super car has a 16.4-liter engine that can go from 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds. It packs 1,000 horsepower in its engine, which allows the car to reach speeds of up to 253 mph.
The couple, who wed in 2008, are more than capable of giving expensive gifts to each other, after all, they were Hollywood’s top earning couple last year with a combined take of more than $107 million. This year, Beyonce earned around $87 million behind a successful tour and several endorsements. Jay-Z, on the other hand, is the owner of a $450-million empire that includes a clothing line, record label, and an NBA team.
