Paparazzi goes head-to-head with The Buzz and Showbiz Central.


TV5 is on a winning streak these days. After the rousing success of its new shows like “LOL,” “Willing Willie” and “Magic Gimik,” the Kapatid Network is now poised to make its “Linggo Panalo” lineup even more competitive and formidable starting this Sunday (November 7).
This Sunday, the much talked about team-up of Ruffa Gutierrez , Mo Twister, Dolly Anne Carvajal and Cristy Fermin are out to prove that they have the hottest and most controversial showbiz stories as they move “Paparazzi” to the “prime” timeslot of showbiz talk, 4:00 pm. In less than a year, “Paparazzi” has become the talk of the town, having out-scooped rival showbiz talk shows repeatedly and being the only one that dares call a spade a spade.
With this move, TV5′s Sunday afternoon lineup flows from strength to strength. Starting at 12:00nn, with the show that is changing Sunday noontime, Joey de Leon hilarious game show “House or Not.” This is followed by the star-studded “P.O.5,” the only show where celebrities do a production number showdown every week.
Meanwhile, the freshest and toughest star search on Philippine TV, “Star Factor,” moves up to the 2:30pm timeslot right after P.O.5. Find out who among the remaining Star Hopefuls will shine the brightest to become the first-ever Star Factor winner, who will bag the grand prize package of P1 M cash, a P1 M TV5 management contract, and a 3-bedroom, 2-story house and lot. After “Star Factor,” the tale of Sir Kean (Kean Cipriano) and Yaya Claring (Alex Gonzaga) becomes more kilig in the Bb. Joyce Bernal’s cult hit “BFGF.”
Kicking off Sunday primetime after “Paparazzi,” Mang Pidol (Comedy King Dolphy) continues to teach kids valuable lessons through in “Pidol’s Wonderland” at 5:30 pm. Following this is the new Sunday night top-rater “Magic Gimik” in which the masked magician named Master M reveals the magic’s biggest secrets to Kean Cipriano and comedian Empoy.
The undisputed No. 1 talent show in the country, Talentadong Pinoy, leaves everyone 100% entertained with contestants doing the outrageous to extraordinary at 7:30 pm. Afterwards, take a bite of Bossing Vic Sotto’s brand of effortless comedy in My Darling Aswangat 9:00 pm, followed by USI at 10:00 pm where Paolo Bediones digs up stories you should know and issues you should be aware of.
TV5′s formidable lineup continues beyond the weekend. Beginning Monday (November 8), TV5’s Big Three daytime offering will vault in to deliver the best treat for viewers: Face to Face at 10:30 am, Balitaang Tapat at 11:30 am, and Juicy at 12:00nn. These days, TV5 is definitely the network to watch.
